Deb Campbell
Artist Reception August 19th, 6:30 - 8:30 PM
I was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. My grandfather was an artist and he, along with my parents, were big inspirations for me to push myself into always improving my art. I began my artistic path through drawing and acrylic painting with my high school art class in 2001 and continued to teach myself and develop my artistic skills through acrylic painting. Through the years I have experimented with watercolor, oil paint, and pastels, but I have found my best artistic ability was through acrylic paint and continue to use it and improve myself every day.
I started selling my paintings in 2008 when I started sharing my artwork online. My paintings were my passion, and I wanted others to see as well, and it quickly turned out that many others also enjoyed my passion. Now my art can be found in different homes around the country and in Europe! What started off as simple notebook sketches has grown into full, colorful paintings that are loved around the world.
My passion is to create art, share it with the world, and bring joy to others. I create art with joy, beauty, and humor as a driving force. Animals, fantasy, and nature are a favorite to paint, but there is always room for humor and a good pun. I don’t paint because I want to say something profound through my art, I paint because it makes my life a little brighter and happier and I know it will bring joy to someone else by sharing it.
Share art with the world, bring someone joy, and the world will be better for it.
