Jessica Parker has loved making art since the first time she picked up a pencil. She spent her childhood reading piles of books, then stealing blank paper from the printer to illustrate her favorite stories.

She studied illustration and graphic design at Brigham Young University, graduating summa cum laude in 2020. Since then, she has been doing freelance illustration work and running her own business teaching art lessons.

Jessica’s artistic inspiration comes from fantasy books and fairytales, mingled with history and the beauties of the natural world. She has created work for book covers, children’s books, and magazines, and she is happiest when making work that brings magical worlds to life.

Jessica currently resides in the suburbs of Salt Lake City, Utah. When she’s not teaching or painting, she can be found with her nose in a book or wandering through antique shops and bookstores, searching for new sources of inspiration.
