Pamela attended BYU from 1997-2001, and graduated with a BFA in painting. She has visited most major art museums in Europe and America. Many travels have included painting along the way in small towns in Europe.
She has spent the better part of the last 18 years raising her six children with her also-artist husband. Recent years have allowed for more time to work on her personal artistic direction, which includes study of the human figure. Real, live, human beings, and their story, are at the heart of what and why Pamela paints each day. To her, there is no more justified subject than the beautiful souls that surround us all each day, and their story. She seeks to always push color in skin tones to create a more modern portrait; something that suggests both the physical, and the intangible but very real process we all go through.
